Reading the site
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Hosting and security services receive technical information needed to deliver requests, including IP addresses, browser information, requested addresses and request times. The public site does not require a reader account and does not currently accept on-page comments or store a reader profile.
Optional advertising and analytics
Our Privacy & cookie settings let you allow or decline Google advertising and Google Analytics. Those optional scripts are not loaded by this site's code until you allow them. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage. A browser sending Global Privacy Control keeps these optional services off. Changing to a more restrictive choice reloads the page; it cannot undo information already sent while an earlier choice was active.
When allowed, Google services may receive online identifiers, device and browser information, page visits and interaction information, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google's advertising consent messages may offer additional choices depending on your region and the publisher's Google settings. The site does not create or substitute a Google consent record itself.

Email, stories and update requests
Contact and update-request links open your email application. Nothing is sent to us until you send your message. We receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond or handle your request. Requests for occasional updates are handled by the site owner rather than an automatic signup database. Ask to stop updates by replying or emailing us.
Do not send passwords, payment information or sensitive medical records. Send photographs or stories only when you own them or have permission to share them. We will ask before publishing a reader's material; an email does not automatically grant publication permission.
Other websites and affiliate links
Following a link to another website brings you under that service's data practices. An affiliate identifier may help a merchant attribute a referral. See our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not sell a reader email list.
Requests, retention and changes
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent. We may need to verify that you are the person concerned and explain any records retained for site operation or applicable obligations. Messages are retained for handling the request and related operational records rather than a fixed period promised here. Browser settings can clear local storage and cookies. This page will be updated when the site's actual practices change.
